Our Agent Gathers & Analyzes Data
The Financial Modeling Agent takes a couple of minutes to gather information from public sources, our internal databases, and paywalled systems we have access to. Once the information is collected, it is thoroughly analyzed
You Review the Modeling Plan
Once the analysis is finished, the agent provides you with a detailed plan for how to model every line of the financial statements. You can simply confirm it or easily change the modeling logic for any line and submit it for further processing
Our Agent Builds the Model & Assumptions
The model is built in seconds. The Financial Modeling Agent then derives the most relevant assumptions (by analyzing historical trends, industry dynamics, earnings call transcripts, news, MD&A, etc.) and incorporates those assumptions into the model. This usually takes another couple of minutes
You Download the Full Model & Valuation
After this, you can download an Excel (or LibreOffice/Google Sheets) file with a full-scale, three-statement model featuring line-by-line calculations and your preferred valuation analyses (DCF, IRR, LBO, APV, etc.). All of this is ready in minutes, with minimal effort from you, and with confidence that your model has no linking errors, is well formatted, auditable, and incorporates industry best practices
Iterate & Refine if needed
If you would like to implement changes to the model, you will be able to do so using our chat interface, directly in the spreadsheet on our portal, or via plugins (currently in test mode)

Find The Answers You Need
Quick answers to the questions that come up most
The agent itself typically takes a couple of minutes to download data, analyze it, and propose an action plan with suggestions, and another couple of minutes to determine an initial set of assumptions. In total, the agent's work usually takes about 5–10 minutes
However, the full process from start to finish may take longer, depending on your preferences and your knowledge of the company or companies you model. If you're doing fundamental analysis on an unfamiliar company, expect to spend a couple of hours (depending on company complexity and desired depth) understanding the business and refining your assumptions. This part can't really be automated, but the agent still saves you days or even weeks of manual work
Financial Modeling Agent supports:
- DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) using both FCFF and FCFE
- LBO (Leveraged Buyout)
- IRR (Internal Rate of Return)
- Analysis at Various Prices (AVP)
- Other share-related metrics
We're continually adding new options based on user feedback and can consider custom valuation approaches. You can also combine multiple approaches within a single model
Yes. The agent is agnostic to company type and geography — public or private, US or non-US. However, there are some practical differences.
For US public companies (and non-US companies filing with the SEC), we can reliably source data from multiple providers with high confidence in data quality. For non-public and non-SEC-reporting companies, financials and other reports are not always easily accessible or machine-readable.
We're training our agents to retrieve these financials automatically, but for now we rely on users to upload such data to avoid errors and frustration. We expect to soon offer highly precise automatic data retrieval for public companies that do not file with the SEC. For private companies, users will still need to upload data, since proper financials are usually impossible to obtain without internal access
